Verkstadsbolaget in Säffle is a modern mechanical workshop, uniquely combined with our service and engineering operations. Machine deliveries, production equipment, lifting tools, prototype work and contract manufacturing are what we do best.

- Maintain strong knowledge of the laws and regulations governing our work, and ensure compliance.

- Prevent accidents, work-related injuries and illnesses to keep absenteeism as low as possible.

OUR HISTORY
1979 The Fransson brothers decide to start their own business. Operations begin outside the town of Säffle.
1994 Rurek AB, a related company, is acquired and integrated.
1996 The company expands its facilities.
2002 Evert Andrén acquires a 50 percent ownership stake. Operations move to a newly acquired property on Säterivägen.
2003 Aspervall Instrument AB is acquired as a subsidiary.
2006 Evert Andrén increases his ownership to 100 percent. A fully integrated ERP system (Monitor) is installed. Aspervall Instrument AB is divested.
2009 ISO certification according to ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004.
2010 A measuring room is constructed, equipped with a coordinate measuring machine and measuring arm. An overhead crane and automatic band saw are installed.
2013 Expansion of ISO certification for welding and steel construction with ISO 3834-2 and SS-EN 1090. The engineering department is certified under ISO 9000.
2019 Henrik Lindblom and Lars Hartman take over the company as new owners.
2022 The company wins its first export order — automation for the wood industry — to California, USA.
2023 Operations move into an expanded workshop by an additional 1,600 m². A vertical lathe, a bed mill and a 5-axis machining centre are installed.
2024 Export of automation solutions to Germany begins.
